What is the Enneagram?
The Enneagram is a personality type system of nine interconnected yet distinctly different personality types. Each of the types has patterned ways of doing, feeling, thinking, seeing and being in the world. Most of these habitual patterns are operating outside of our awareness, yet influence our quality of life, mental health, and relationships.

Each of the nine types is connected to four others arrayed around the symbolic diagram. The Enneagram describes three centers of intelligence, nine personality types, and twenty-seven subtypes that provide an amazingly accurate picture of personality in terms of the patterns associated with the way we function.

When we know our Enneagram types we can strategically and efficiently make progress that would not be possible with generic self-help.

Each type has specific struggles and issues that continue to “pop-up,” causing frustration and disappointment. When we work on the growth path that is specific to the type and subtype, profound transformation is possible.
The word Enneagram comes from the Greek and means
“a drawing of nine.” The drawing –the Enneagram symbol– is a map of human nature and transformation, showing us predictable ways that we may respond and a nuanced path for growth.
